NGO’s Role in Environmental Law
The Consortium’s purpose is to serve as think-tank and facilitator for implementing and providing significance to the human right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment for present and future generations, recognized in UN General Assembly Resolution 76/300 (July 28, 2022), and to the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on climate justice, mandated under UNGA Resolution 77/216 (April 4, 2023), issued on July 23, 2025.

Standing Out with Purpose
The Consortium supports and collaborates with Pace University’s Global Center for Environmental Legal Studies and the Pace Energy and Climate Center, and others, to introduce legal concepts and the COPx networking platform in successive events at New York Climate Week in September 2025, the IUCN World Conservation Congress in October 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, culminating in the Climate Conference of the Parties (COP) 30 in November 2025 in Brazil.


Long-Term Goals
Based in New York City, we facilitate inclusive and forward-looking processes and consultations to advance right-based approaches for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in harmony with Nature, the energy transition away from fossil fuels, and reaching not less than 30% of Earth’s land and the Ocean as protected areas by 2030.
