Professor Tafur is Director of the UN Environmental Diplomacy Program and Adjunct Professor of Law at Pace University, Elisabeth Haub School of Law, New York.

He holds a Law Degree (J.D.), Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia); Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) in Environmental Law, Pace University.
